We are currently working with Marko Makovac to tailor this service internally for Microsoft EMEA. Our objectives over the next two months are to enhance the value proposition and pertinence of MUSE to the Microsoft Community. Your open and honest advice and suggestions to us (and your colleagues) concerning the content, ease of use, and added value of these services will help us fine tune MUSE with your team’s needs and objectives. As a member of the Microsoft pilot group, we need your help in leveraging MUSE to enhance your team’s work experience. We will be feeding you regularly a qualified selection of market content to the MUSE portal and your mobile devices. We will be inviting you periodically to on-line and physical workshops to explore and debate key topics. Finally, we will be contacting you twice during the test period to capture your thoughts, opinions, and suggestions in an IM session, conf call, or structured survey on the service’s pertinence is helping you learn about the market issues shaping your client opportunities, jobs and value propositions. MUSE competitive intelligence services can be used from either the project portal or streamed through your mobile device. The MUSE portal provides access to all MUSE services, as well as forms for capturing user profiles, comments and suggestions. Muse headlines and summaries can be seen by the public at large from the homepage, Muse news, content and commentary on the InFocus page (and through RSS) are available only to registered members. All users should complete the contact details on MUSE’s registration page. Once completed, registered users receive by e-mail a personal ID and password that needs to supplied when consulting content on the MUSE portal or RSS feeds. Live IDs are recognized by MUSE and can be supplied as default ID’s. Users are advised to store their ID and passwords locally on their browsers to speed up navigation. MUSE licensing prohibits communicating IDs or passwords to 3rd parties. MUSE proposes a comment sheet for user comments, suggestions, and advice. All comments and suggestions will be reviewed by the MUSE staff to continually improve the MUSE offering. Periodically, the MUSE staff will solicit user input through structured surveys and evaluation forms, IM sessions or short conference calls. All technical comments and suggestions are tracked and addressed by the MUSE staff to continually improve the MUSE offering.
Periodically, the MUSE staff may solicit user comments on technical support. Users wishing to contact the MUSE staff directly concerning technical support can do so using the address Support@lhstech.com. MUSE is offered on an annual company subscription basis. Registration is a three step process. Managers interested in MUSE should fill out the short registration form on the MUSE portal. The MUSE staff will contact interested parties if necessary to discuss the organizational benefits and confirm the contractual conditions. Once the contract has been validated, registered managers will receive a personal ID and password for the MUSE portal, RSS subscription service and MUSE conferences. RSS or ATOM feeds are instructions that allow registered users to access MUSE content directly from their desktops, websites, or mobile devices. In the MUSE RSS generator found on the MUSE homepage, users can automatically produce the necessary code for several major homepages and mashups by simply clicking on the appropriate link. To produce the needed code for a personal Web page, click on the RSS button and then “Embed with SpringWidgets” option. |
